Introduction - The phonetic way
- Telugu is a left-to-right written language similar to English where as some of the
middle eastern languages like arabic are written right to left.
- In telugu, the alphabets are classified as vowels and consonants.
(As a matter of fact in all Indian languages that have roots in Sanskrit.)
- Telugu words are made of a one or more syllables.
- Telugu follows most of the english punctuation like a space to separate words, quotes, commas,
exclamation etc.,
Lesson 2 will deal with vowels.
Lesson 3 and Lesson 4 deal with consonants.
A review of vowels and consonants is presented in Lesson 5.
Lesson 6 and Lesson 7 will explain how the syllables
are formed.
